On one hand, while Makar Sakranti is celebrated in the entire state, on the other hand, the operator of a sweet shop in Churu has innovated and made such an attractive and flavourful Ghevar, which looks exactly like a kite flying in the sky.

Sushil Sharma, owner of Baba Mishthan Bhandar of the city, says that in view of the festival of Makar Sakranti, he planned to do something different and got the die prepared from Bikaner to make kite-like Ghevar. He told that this special Ghevar is not only special in appearance, but is also very delicious in taste. Whoever ate this dry fruit-rich Ghevar once, became crazy about its taste. Due to its attractive and different appearance, the demand for this special ghevar is also higher than that of ordinary ghevar.
This is how this special ghevar is made
Sushil Sharma, director of Baba Mishthan Bhandar, says that in view of the festival of Makar Sankranti, a special die was prepared and this kite Ghevar is being prepared by special artisans. Artisan Kailash Gujar told that flour is mixed in milk and desi ghee, then it is soaked in desi ghee and the base of ghevar is prepared. Three ghevar can be put in the kadai at a time, which is cooked for about 31 minutes. The artisan told that this Ghevar is 6 inches wide and 9 inches long. It is decorated with milk saffron rabri and white rabri. The rate of this Malai Special Patang Ghevar is Rs 550 per kg and about three pieces will come in one kg.
